Cigarette Slitting Machine

During my internship at a cigarette factory, I had the opportunity to work on a project to design and build a cigarette slitting machine. This machine was essential for the factory's waste management process as it allowed for the reuse of rejected cigars, which would otherwise go to waste. The machine was powered by a 3 Phase AC motor and utilized vibration technology to slice and filter the mixed-tobacco waste. My role in this project involved collaborating with a team of engineers and technicians to design, build and test the machine. Through this experience, I gained valuable knowledge in machine design, waste management processes, and teamwork.
