The work
For a course project, I designed and manufactured a hydraulic bike lift using steel hollow sections and bars. The work combined structural design with hands-on welding, drilling, and assembly.
Project contributions & outcomes
- Designed the lifting mechanism and structural components.
- Prepared engineering drawings and bills of materials.
- Fabricated and assembled the lift for maintenance access.
